Ancient wisdom..

Do not let others set the standards about how much you should have— or about what you should do with it— for you are the only one who could ever accurately define that. AH

I get an email memo from Abraham Hicks (AH) every day that always make me stop and think. The next email came in and it was about thriving:

You have to find a way to be all right with thriving because you are always going to want to thrive. There are so many people who innately want to thrive, who as soon as they begin thriving a little, begin imposing all of these exterior judgements about how much thriving is appropriate, “It’s appropriate to thrive that much, but not that much.” And you have to ask yourself, “At what point do I lose the balance of thriving?” AH

This is coming up a lot in my life at the moment – the idea of holding abundance and thriving in abundance within your own body, your actions, your words, your thoughts and your mindset. And who gets to determine your own level of thriving? Who sets that level?

I do. Just me. No-one else.

Over the past few weeks, I have learnt how to truly embody and own my own experience of life and am becoming the person I finally always wanted to be but couldn’t quite understand, who can hold abundance and thriving.

This doesn’t have to just be in relation to money but all experiences in life.

I used to think if good things are happening to me then I would get this dread in my stomach that there is something bad on the way. I would then self-sabotage. My nervous system freaked out and took me back to a level that is familiar to keep me safe (thank you nervous system for keeping me safe but we are misaligned).

Once you are able to achieve and consistently maintain your personal alignment, a great deal of money will flow into your experience (if that is your desire). AH

Everything is now starting to make sense and I can even write about it authentically from a centred and grounded place – something I’ve been wanting to do for years! Which shows this is working and things are changing.

Some ancient wisdom. Just like this fella.
